What kind of volunteers are we looking for?

Men - Who says guys can't work with kids? In fact, our children need strong, caring, cool guys to show them what a man of God is really like.

Women - Our children also need fun, caring, and compassionate women who can build them up and keep them going.

People who love God - Our first priority is our "first love" (Rev 2:4, NIV). If our volunteers love God, the huge task of leading kids to Christ becomes a joyful response to his grace. Volunteers who serve out of love for God last longer, have more fun, and are more fun to work with!

People who love kids - The other key component in a great volunteer is a love for kids. Does that sound too simple? Well, it's true! Volunteers who love kids can learn how to do "all that other stuff" that goes with Children Ministry.

Passionate people - Passion is infectious. Doing enough to "get by" drains us. Going above and beyond energizes us. It's one of those cool God-things.

Reliable people - Volunteers who make a commitment and throw themselves into Children Ministry find the blessing of working with kids almost immediately.
