Parents

Hopefully, most teens will be so turned off by the idea of a page for parents that they won't even check this page. And that's the point! We've designed this page to be your source for information, tools, and resources.

First of all, if you're new to the ministry, we want to encourage you to check out the main Teen Ministry page and the BOCtm Programs page. These will give you a great foundation into understanding why and how we do what we do.

Second, we hope you're web-savvy enough to know that a good website is always updating and improving. So check back often.

Resources

These are some websites full of good information that could help you out along the way.

Focus on the Family - News and resources for Christian parents
Plugged In - Media reviews and information
Screen It - Movie ratings and content breakdowns

Here are a couple of articles from the Christ In Youth website. Before the articles are some thoughts by Johnny Scott (CIY Director of Believe) and Dr Gary Zustiak (CIY Director of Resources). These are written for ministers, but we think you'll find them helpful.

BOCtm Policies

We would like you to be aware of our policies regarding things like transportation, codes of conduct, and leadership structure. Please download and review the document below. If you have further questions, don't hesitate to contact our Teen Minister, Dave McInnis. happydave@minister.com

Also, every student who attends an off-campus activity with BOCtm is required to have a signed Medical Release Form on file with the Teen Minister. Click the link below to download the form.
