BOC Cookbooks
Have arrived! If you would like to purchase one they are $15 plus $5 shipping. Please write your check to Branches of Christ and mail it to 2355 Old Hwy 92, Ste 200, Acworth, GA 30102. The cookbook is entitled "Everything But Manna" and has 500 recipes in a hard cover, 3 ring binder with a plastic book stand enclosed.

Grief Support Group
For those who have lost a loved one, recently or years ago, come share, listen, and spend time together as we entertain Marlo Keenan from a local hospice on Monday, August 2nd at 6:00 p.m. She will be available to give insight, chat and whatever else you need. We will have a potluck so come join us, bring a dish to share and invite your friends as this is open to all. Please sign up at the Welcome Center or email the church.

JOIN OUR WINNING TEAM!
The Fall season is right around the corner and it is time for registration. The fall season is a 7 game season. We will be playing on Thursday nights at Dupree Park which is right off of Arnold Mill and Neese Rd. The cost per player is $30.00. The season begins August 26th. Registration will begin this Sunday after church 7/25/2010 and end 8/15/2010. Please plan on bringing your check made payable to BOC. With the new accounting system at BOC we must have payment in advance of registering. Attention Cross Trainers
... or anyone interested in being a part of the CROSS TRAINERS of BOC. We took the summer off but now it is time to get back in the RACE! Our next 5K will be in memory of those that we have lost at BOC to lung cancer: Gerald Camp, Janet Farleo, Mickey Gisel, Ed McMahon and Fred McCullough. The race will be August 21st in Downtown Atlanta, traveling through the beautiful historic district of the Virginia-Highlands.

Marriage Love & Respect Advance
Do you want to find out how to ENERGIZE your marriage? Everyone does at some point in their marriage - but those who attend the Marriage Love and Respect Advance August 13th will learn exactly how to ENERGIZE with Love & Respect. Every married couple at Branches is invited to join us for a potluck dinner along with some great insight of how to make your marriage even better than the BEST on Friday, August 13th at 7pm. Sign up will begin the middle of July. If you didn't attend the previous one - this is OK - join us. There is a $20 fee per couple for the workbook for new couples who haven't attended yet.

The Treasure Principle
Join Scott Brock for a 2 hour seminar hearing and discussing the book, "The Treasure Principle" by Randy Alcorn on Saturday, August 7, 9:30-11:30 a.m. Bring a cup of coffee and we'll have donuts, a copy of the book, and a quick reference guide for everyone who attends. Scott will speak for 60 to 90 minutes, and then we will discuss some of the study questions in the book for a half hour or so. Please sign up at the Welcome Center to attend.
