Deep Clean Day
With Easter just around the corner we are going to have a deep clean day here at BOC on Saturday, March 27th starting at 9:00 a.m. We have a variety of areas that need attention, from brush and clean up outside, to baseboards scrubbed inside. Easter Flowers
We would like to give you an opportunity to provide a memorial Easter Lily, Caladium, or Blooming Azalea in the Sanctuary for Easter. You can do this in one of two ways: you can donate money and we will select a grouping that works well together or you can purchase a flower to keep as your own. As always, it is your flower and you are free to take it after the Easter service. If you don't we will be glad to use it in the outside planter under the sign and/or the flower pots right outside the church doors so you can see it every time you come to church. It then becomes a gift that keeps on giving
To honor your loved one in this way, we will need your name (to be listed in the bulletin), the name of who it is in memory of or honor of, whether or not you will bring one of the above flowers or if you are donating money. We will need this information by March 28th. If you bring your own flower, please bring it to BOC no later than March 31st. Decorating for Easter will begin April 1st, no fooling. Financial Peace University Preview
FPU is a 13 week program created and lead by author and speaker Dave Ramsey. It is designed to give people the tools to manage their money well and in a God-honoring way. Quoting from daveramsey.com, "Over 650,000 families have completed FPU with amazing success. On average, they pay off $5,300 in debt and save $2,700 in just 13 weeks."
Rather than try to convince you ourselves that FPU is something your family needs to be a part of, we're going to let Dave Ramsey do it. On Sunday, March 28 at 11:55 a.m. we're going to show a 25 minute video in which Dave will explain FPU, why it works, how it works, and why it's worth your time.
